HISTORY

“Bowim” was established in 1995 as a civil company operating in the distribution of steel products.
In 1999 the company joined the Polish Union of Steel Distributors ( “PUDS”) as a founding member.
In 2001, as a result of the dynamic development of the company was transformed into a joint stock company.


In 2005, based on the branch in Rzeszów, “Bowim” SA created a subsidiary Bowim-Podkarpacie Ltd including shares in the initial capital of the company representing 75% of the share capital and entitling to exercise the rights of the 85.7% of the votes at shareholders meeting Bowim-Podkarpacie Ltd.
In 2007, the company moved its headquarters from Tarnowskie Góry to Sosnowiec.

In 2007, Bowim acquired a 80% stake in the share capital Betstal Ltd and subsidiary Bowim-Podkarpacie Ltd acquired 100% of the share capital in Centrostal- Jasło Ltd, incorporating it completely in 2008.


In 2010, Bowim acquired 100% of shares in the Passat-Stal joint-stock company.
In 2011, Bowim acquired a 10% stake in Betstal Ltd


On 25 January 2012, Bowim successfully debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in Warsaw. The debut on WSE was not accompanied by the issue of shares. The market has entered a total of 13,139,647 shares of ordinary bearer shares of series B, D, E and F of the nominal value of 0.10 PLN each.
On 25 August 2015, “Bowim” S.A. acquired 100% of shares in the share capital of Betstal with the total nominal value of PLN 50,000
